Reservations
- A puppy is open for reservation when we are satisfied it is in good health, has established its milk supply & is a normal weight.
- We take reservations on the principal of 'first come, first served'.
- My policy is to hold a puppy for someone whilst waiting for the reservation fee, for 5 opening days.
- We take a third of the total price to reserve.
- Reservation monies are not reimbursable. If the puppy dies or is ill, then the reservation will be transferred to the next available, similar puppy.
- A puppy can be reserved at 5 days. However, if there is a choice then this can be made at a month old. (Puppies cannot be handled until after the first vaccination.)
- A puppy is available at 8 weeks. The remainder of what is due must be paid by that date, unless easy payments have been agreed in advance.
- To avoid the extra fees (10€) of the SCC for changing the identity card it is possible to pay the total sum a few days in advance of the date the puppy is ready to go.
- The general public is not allowed into the kennels. We want to keep the possibility of infections (viral or bacterial to a minimum) & in any case the dogs do not like strangers on their territory. Please do not ask as refusal often offends!
- The kennels are approved by the Société Centrale Canine & the Département Service Vétérinaires and the dogs are frequently vet-checked.
- We feed our dogs on Royal Canin dog food, & they are happy, fit & healthy. The oldest dog in the kennels is now 13 – once their breeding career is over, we keep them until the end if we cannot re-home them successfully.
- You only have to ask to see a particular dog or dogs and we will bring them to the viewing area.
